At KM Studio, we are proud to be one of the first production companies in Bahrain actively using the Albert toolkit to guide our sustainability efforts. While Bahrain is not yet an official Albert partner territory—and thus we are not certified—we align our practices with Albert’s internationally recognized standards for environmentally responsible film production.
Albert is a leading environmental organization that provides tools and guidance to help TV and film productions reduce their environmental impact. Originally launched as a BBC initiative in 1996 and adopted by BAFTA in 2011, Albert’s resources include a bespoke carbon calculator, which helps estimate and lower a production’s carbon footprint from pre-production to post.
Although official certification is not currently available in Bahrain, we fully incorporate Albert’s sustainability principles across our productions—from paperless workflows to green energy use—ensuring every project reflects our deep commitment to responsible filmmaking. At KM Studio, sustainability isn’t a trend—it’s part of our identity.
At KM Studio, we believe that great storytelling should never come at the expense of the environment. As a pioneering production house in Bahrain, we are committed to making sustainability a core part of our creative and operational philosophy.
Every production leaves a footprint—but we’re committed to making ours as light as possible. By aligning with global best practices in sustainable media, KM Studio is proudly setting a new standard for environmentally responsible filmmaking in the Middle East.
